why do people keep comparing "demo" GT5to Forza .... Its about as bad as me showing this off.
Sony's biggest fps exclusives can't even compete with "overpriced dlc" to a game that already got its sequel, yet call of duty is the best selling sony game so there obviously is a huge fps fanbase who bought the ps3. Prologue is the only GT out on hd consoles is experiencing extra hype from a soon to be released GT5 and its sales being compared to just another racing game is the same thing as comparing halo sales to killzone sales.
But other then that. Amazing hardware numbers for the ps3. Software numbes are probably undertracked a bit as well but it would probably be impossible to track software in those regions ps3 recieved huge adjustments too. Nice first week for Fable 3, but as others have stated Kinect will probably steal its thunder very quickly. I also feel like it was a mistake to make the launch date so near Fallout New Vegas as it surely stole many potential buyers who don't want to get two rpgs that quickly. Don't understand why Bethesda and Lionhead did that not only with fable 2 and fallout 3, but now with the sequels as well. Killing of each others sales for sure.Fallout's ps3 sales vs medal of honor ps3 sales are a bit dissappointing considering Fallout vs medal of honor sales for the 360.
