I wouldn't say they should be compared at all for a couple of reasons.

 

PS Move's numbers will be inflated because people would buy numerous Move controllers, while you only need a single Kinect.

It's hard to track how many households Move is into accurately due to all the different bundles/games that are Move compatible. Kinect will be a lot easier to track because every Kinect comes with Kinect Adventures.

 

You just can't accurately, or fairly compare them sales-wise. But if you want to compare them with every single Move controller sold vs every single Kinect sold... I'm just gonna watch from the sidelines.
