Get a cheaper model if you're short on money...then buy a bigger HDD later on (granted, they're pricy, but still).

I know, but honestly saving up for a purchase is better in the longer run. 

Easier said than done...I've been planning on getting a new 360 S to replace my old one for November...and with the way things are going now, I'm not sure I'll be able to do it (at least, not with an elite).

That truly sucks, I guess options like these are better for consumers who are hurt by economy. 

Oh we're not hurt by the economy at all...there's another reason, but it's a long story.
