Reach had one extra week compared to Halo 3 though. Seems to be slightly overtracked here.

NPD = USA, VGchartz= AmericaS

Halo 3 sold about 190k in it's first Canadian NPD. Although NPD doesn't include hardware bundles so you can probably add about 75k-100k. Assuming Reach sold similarly to 3 up north Latin America would need to pick up a fair bit of slack, and piracy really kills software down there for everything except PS3. We're probably overtracking it but only ever so marginally. Probably not worth an adjustment.

Although it seems that we have also lower numbers for Halo 3 compared to NPD. We have first week of about 2.85 million for whole america and NPD has 3.3 million for USA only. That's actually pretty big difference.

You looked that up or is that your calculation ?

When I did my calculations I came up with 2.99m or so.
