You can't say Sony games don't " sell. " God of War 3 is at 3 Million, Uncharted 2 is at 3.6 Million, Metal Gear Solid 4 is nearly at 5 Million, etc.

also it turns out MGS4 outsold MGS3 and God of War 3 is most likely going to outsell God of War 2.

both relatively nich titles for the ps2 that had room to grow and aren't casual games. The ps3 probably has the same amount of core gamers as it had last gen. It just lost the casuals to the wii. GT5 doesn't have that room to grow and is very reliant on the casual crowd the ps3 is currently missing. Its more reasonable to compare it to GTA which couldn't even outsell san andreas fully multiplatform from the get go. Though I still think it will defenitly get higher then 6mil. 8-9mil is my prediction depending on when the ps4 comes out.

In other news great job fable 3, though a tad dissapointed it will outsell fallout new vegas, at least initially, and yay Black Ops fell below Halo Reach in preorders, lets hope everyone is preordering more then usual this year and COD doesn't still get a higher first week in America with lower preorders like MW2 did.
