3DS matches DSi in terms of battery life. But if you have a DS, the best way to go is always the DS lite. 19 hours of battery life with the screen on it's lowest brightness and 40 hours of battery life if you are playing a GBA game. Awesome ^_^
Btw, what on earth is this cradle everyone keeps talking about?
