Similarly I think it's pretty ambitious to call it for AC2 with it sitting on 4.11 million. At the rate it's selling right now it'll need to keep up that average for about another 61 weeks to get to 5 million. That's a pretty tall order at this stage in the generation.
Having said that getting 2 x 4million on a single platform is bloody marvelous, and getting 8 million across PS360 is fantastic. Is it the best selling multiplat new IP this generation?

I would say yes to both your last 2, unless you agree with IW that their latest games were Modern Warfare games not CoD games... Gearses have no sold about 12m, so nothing is close to them in terms of exclusives, the only other high selling new exclusive HD franchise I can think of is Uncharted and that has only sold 7m. By comparison the Assassin's Creed franchise has sold 17.5m. That is a seriously impressive number

2nd is doing 10k, about 12 weeks from 6 mill, 1st 2k a week, just crossed 6 mil.

I'm not sure it will... especially as I feel Gears will be the last in the series, Epic don't seem like the kind to milk it (though I would like Gears of War Wars.....)
I think its slower pace means that it is unlikely to nick that many Halo or CoD fans if they leave those franchises and I don't see 3 being that much better than 2 as 2 was just that good

I think if the 3rd game will hit the shelves without multiplayer problems as opposed to the 2nd one, it should get to 7 million without problems.
