It's such an amazingly well designed game, any gripes I can say I have are tiny little nitpicks on a masterpiece of a game. I am not only in love with the game itself but the philosophy in the design and the amazing talent that went into all aspects of it. And it seems a lot of people feel the same way I do, looking at a Youtube search for "Portal Still Alive", if you combine all the videos of the end credits it's well over 12 million views and it's still getting loads of hits to this day. I think if you are ever looking for a game that made an 'impact' on people, Portal is a great example if not the best there is. My only hope for Portal 2 is that it is worthy to follow in such footsteps. |
