The PS3 is following almost exactly the same line as the 360. If people consider the PS3 a failure for selling the same as the 360 then surely the 360's a failure too? Personally I think all this generation's consoles are pretty successful.

Agreed, especially when the 360's only competition was the PS2, of course people will say that Sony had to take some desperate measures to acheive this, but that does not matter

 Although with the inacuracies they will be about the same. But anyway, the PS3 has not had a terrible first year, although it is still poor
