Well that game might actually have decent legs if Sony actually gave it a price cut. I don't think they even publish it anymore.
Anyhow, its bad example because that game had modest sales. MW1 has sold great at full price and with a price cut. I presume people will buy it when it goes down to $20 as well.

it is nowhere near MGS4,SMG2 quality games
I don't think I ever played a game that deserved a perfect score. But I can enjoy GTAIV even if its less than perfect.
I haven't played MGS4. But I did beat the original. I feel asleep during a cutscene and one time I forgot I was playing a game and walked away. I hope MGS4 isn't riddled with painfully long cutscenes. 
I only played SMG1. From my recollection it was a very boring experience. I'm hoping SMG2 is better.
not really.i love the series and love GTA4 too as my bias comes in and i say it is a top notch game but when i look at it seriously,it jst isn't
Well... its an enjoyable experience. At least I thought it was.
what i meant was its not like SAN ANDREAS or GT4 like titles that you will pick up that game as you buy the system or when you walk in and are with gaming people they talk about that game
Well those were like the creme de la creme of the PS2. HD consoles now a days are riddled in quality games and there are a lot of games people can recommend.
