The $150 was a clearance sale. Once the old stock was sold out it no longer effects sales.
But I do think that 2011 will be the begining of the end for this generation. Sales will peak and rumors will start about the next generation. By 2012 brand new Xbox 360s and PS3 slims will be price no higher than $199 and Xbox 360s Arcades will be $129-$149. By 2013 they will be discounted even more and next generation won't be rumors anymore, it will be confirmed and even shown at E3.
Are these the best sales the 360 will have? Maybe, but the same goes for PS3. We've reached the top of the hill and we're about to roll down the other side.
