"It's the Wii" is magical thinking. Do you really not understand that a games console needs regular significant games releases to maintain momentum, and why are you trying to change the subject?

"It's the Wii" works right for it... It's been outselling the PS3 since day one for a reason... Nintendo's own games. The effect isn ow wearing off (although the Wii is still way ahead). Nintendo need to do something about it if they want sales to stay as high as they are (or have been).
I understand fine and dandy that software drives the platform, but with the Wii's releases along with a Pricecut... It should be expected to be up YoY, especially after the record breaking Holidays.
And I'm not changing the subject. I asked why it was down. You said software. I'm expanding on your answer...
