The logic, here, is that the difference is represented as a percentage relative to 50% (so in the example, the Wii represents 48.9% of the marketshare for the week), and then also included is the impact on LTD marketshare percentage going to Wii. Since the Wii is a little under 48.9% of the marketshare at this time (currently 48.5%), getting 48.9% for the week means that the Wii gains slightly in percentage marketshare. EDIT: Just so people understand, I chose to use Wii as the "positive" just because one had to be chosen, and "Wii" is shorter than "PS360", so the headings of the last two columns is shorter. |
