Own both, on my 3rd DS and 2nd PSP and will likely buy two versions of the 3DS before it's over with 
3DS is probably the most excited I've been for a handheld since I got my gameboy color and Pokemon Red, though DS was high up there as well but I wasn't promised good games like 3DS will have or with my gameboy color.
