Kid Icarus is a trully desired IP revival by most older Nintendo gamers. Now that there is a new hardware in the works, its a perfect oportunity IMO to finally make a new game. It comes from a reliable developer, and as a technical showcase for the core 3DS audience. If advertised correctly it could easily do 2 million .
Never the less Im betting ~ 1.5 million worst case, while Pahntom Hourglass numbers in best case
