The PSP has almost-PS2-quality graphics, and it came out how many years ago?  Are you aware how long ago that is in technological terms?  Gamecube is on the lower end of what they could feasibly do.

This is true, I don't understand the whole 'It's Nintendo, it'll have weak hardware' mentality.. Gamecube tech will be 10 years old, perhaps older when you consider what it was based on..

Also IF the 3DS has two 3D screens, not likely but possible, it will have a higher total resolution than the iPhone 4, iPad and Wii. It'll be 0.82mp, 720p is 0.92mp. That kind of output would need serious power. (Again that is unlikely) but you can see that power will be needed, one 3D screen or two.

Nor do I.  The Wii is the only time they've made a technologically weaker console, and who can blame them?  They were on the verge of being forced out of the console market, so they needed to make enough profit to run the company even if their risk failed and their console only sold five million.

Don't anyone even try to tell me that the DSwas inferior hardware at the time.  When the DS came out, no previous handheld device had ever dreamed of producing a polygon.
