| spurgeonryan said: Ok after my first reply I think like alot of other people this site is going to lose business just like IGN has to an extent. I would spend hours looking at IGN before they changed it, now I spend ten minutes. Here I could spend half a day looking at this site, now if I cannot talk to other gamers about certain games anymore then what is the point? What happened to all our post on individual games? Now we can easily see every week on the chartz for any game.....great dont care, what we recieved before was fine. ANother site that lost my business was billoard.com they dont show life time sales anymore on line ... Here goes your ad revenue vgchartz...and who in this world cares about those other 2-3 sites? I predict vg chartz will lose some customers..lol anyone for the crappy 1up.com? This site looks organized like somthing I could do on one of those free website builders. Come guys (girls)this is one of my favorite sites! CAn we not post more than one comment on each thread anymore? I could not post this on the What do we think of the new page thread! |
these kinds of comments were exactly what I read when 2.0 launched. Now after "fixing" 2.0 after everyone complained we now say this is even worse and we are going to lose more people. Funnily enough we've gained more people than we lost, and if that is what it takes to grow, then we'll have to put up with it to survive. If we aren't growing, then we are probably shrinking and that isn't good.
Already I've seen key improvements to increase ease of use. Honestly the website may have been rushed out the door (prediction league missing for example) but it will get better and key features will return while new features will be added.
Also, insulting the developers will get you no where except banned. This thread was about the PL not about you crapping on the website because you can't stand change.
