Well there are a few examples... for instance, and I paraphrase... "excellent psp sales"  "terrible 360 sales"  the YOY tells a totally different story.

Obviously 360 sales arent great, but they arent that bad.  Whereas PSP sales and DS sales are relatively awful.  This discussion is about this weeks sales and I am merely comparing to this week last year, a good barometer.

PSP sold better than the 360, so how can the 360's sales be "not that bad" and the psp sales be "relatively awful"?

Doesn't matter that the PSP sold way less year on year, it still sold much better than the Xbox 360.

Just imagine this scenario, and answer me a question -

The Wii, this week, sells 64,896 units in Others. 1000 more than the PS3.

Would the Wii be doing bad, while the PS3 was doing great?
