I think what we'll begin to see is instead of the PS3 continuing to rise, the 360 and Wii will drop faster than the PS3 in Japan and Others which will cause the PS3 to catch up in the long term. I'm not saying the 360 or Wii will have shorter lifespans than the PS3 but I think their sales (more so the 360) will drop more quickly in the next year or two compared to the PS3. |

I doubt the PS3 will ever be consistantly ahead of the 360 (by a decent amount of consoles) in NA while the 360 is still being supported. The best i see is matching the 360, or just slightly beating it weekly. "Others" and Japan are the key areas for PS3. It seems to have no trouble at all in Europe as a whole and with continued support/advertising it should maintain a healthy lead.
Japan, i could see the PS3 reaching as high as 10 Million if the great support it's getting continues. Could be THE key area for the PS3.
