When I was in high school, at prom, they wouldn't even let 2 guys be in the same professional photo at the same time. To buy tickets, it had to be male and female. In fact, there is a school just this year that canceled prom because a lesbian was fighting for her right to take a girl to the prom instead of a guy.

Black people can walk anywhere holding hands and nobody says anything thing to them. Whenever I so much as put my arm on my boyfriends shoulder, people stare at me. I've even had a person walk up to me when I was holding my boyfriends hand and tell me that it wasn't natural before. It was just holding his hand for gods sake. I wasn't ravaging him in the parking lot or anything.

There is actually a type of therapy for gay guys to go to that is supposed to turn them straight. Something like that doesn't happen for black people to turn them white (well..except michael jackson. r.i.p.)

they actually had the prom.  they let her and some special students attend...then went and had their own secret one with everyone else.
