Ok BUT if it was PS3 Exclusive could have had a Kevin Butler FF13 commercial = MUCH better marketing than what MS gave FFXIII (Kevin Butler >>> Leona Lewis)
So it could have worked in its favour especially cus I'm sure SONY would have marketed it it BIG time
BUT I do think the 360 sales are BIG enough to make sure we never get a exclusive Mainline FF ever again.

I don't see you guys' point here, particularly the discussion on the site about why it makes since to put Splinter Cell: Conviction or Mass Effect 2 on the PS3, when those would get trounced by the X360 version by more than double.
Also, no, Sony won't do an ad for Versus, just like Microsoft didn't do an ad for FF XIII. All they did was pay Square Enix a small fee to slap only their logo on the back end of it. Advertising is performed by the publisher, and the publisher for Final Fantasy XIII is Square Enix.

You don't get exclusive advertising for one of the most hyped up games of the generation that's guarenteed to sell better on the other platform... For a "small fee".
And you think Sony wont push Versus if it stays exclusive? Especially with (what will be) way over 1 1/2 Million Final Fantasy XIII owners NOT on the PS3?
Versus XIII could potentially become a HUGE system seller.
