What's your point then? Only 2 DQ games have ever gone over 4 million, MH will have a 4 million selling game in much less time. MH is as popular or maybe even more nowadays, either if you want it to be or not.

And with that in mind, seeing how no port ever gave a Wii a boost, wether it was a Nintendo franchise, Sengoku Basara, Sengoku Musou, Monster Hunter, SD Gundam, I doubt this will give the Wii a "huge boost". I would bet it won't have any effect, wanna bet?

You don't need to go over 4 million to give a huge boost.

As you can see, it'll most likely get there eventually anyway. Heck, DQIX sold about 4 million.

I never said you needed to go over 4 million to give a huge boost. I said that expecting every game in a popular series to give a boost is ilogical as proven by history, and even more when the game is an old spin-off port which will require another console integration to be played in its entirity. I don't doubt the game will sell, I'm just saying it won't propel the Wii to the skies.
