You are purposely ignoring that the games are very different.  That is like comparing the sales of 2D Mario and 3D Mario and expecting them to sell the same.

Yes, what is probably an alt with a GoW avatar posting completely misleading facts.

That doesn't matter. I'm not expecting it to sell GTA:SA levels. I'm expecting it to sell at LEAST 5 Million. It's a Grand Theft Auto game on the most popular platform ever. Stop making excuses for it. People were expecting it to be HUGE before it released. It sold poorly for a GTA game. Fact.

Can you prove he is an alt? And the facts aren't misleading at all... You just don't want to hear them. They are GTA sales figures on the 2 most sold platforms to date. GTA DS should have done much, much more. Again, not GTA San Andreas levels of sales, but at least doing GTA VCS like sales.

Now i ask you. Simple question, needs a yes or no answer. Did GTA:CW sell below par for a GTA game?

That doesn't matter?  That matters a lot.  It doesn't matter because you don't want it to.  I guess we can compare NSMB Wii to Mario Strikers Charged and Mario Super Sluggers just because it is the same IP.  I find it funny how the DS has suddenly become the most popular platform ever when Sony fans want it to.  Normally there is wailing and gnashing of teeth when someone brings up the DS surpassing the PS2.

So let me quote Viper:

PSRock, the marketability of a 2D top down GTA on the DS is significantly lower than the 3D 3rd person perspective view of all other titles since the early 2000's.

Is it low for brand? Yes.
Is it low for the game? No.
