I could provide more examples but one is enough. It's similar to the player's choice titles that are released here in North America. |
It's different actually, this is a decision by Nintendo themselves, not by the third parties who made the games. Obviously they will have to agree, but the release dates are given by Nintendo, whereas the Best Hits are released by the publishers themselves whenever they feel its fine.
