If I may ask, what's wrong with a DS game vs a Wii game? Just because its on a handheld? I don't want to single you out specifically, especially if that's not your reason, but I find a lot of people on thisforum seem to automatically have a negative view of certain games because they're on handhelds, or just handheld games in general. And considering this game is pretty much one of the highest budget and biggest DS games made yet, I would think it should at least warrant a try before people discount it completely. |
First, the DS in my household is technically my girlfriend's. I bought it for her as a gift. So while I have access to it, it is not like I can take it with my whenever I want. I've also tried to keep myself from buying games just for me. I got her interested in Scribblenauts so I could play it too, but I don't see her being interested in a RPG. Second, even when I was younger I used my handhelds at home more than anywhere else. At this point in my life, I don't have a need for gaming on the go, so that ratio is even more in favor of home gaming. So why not just game on a home console with a TV?
There are still some experiences you can't get anywhere but a handheld though. It is why I still have one.
