I think their is do doubt at all that the PS3 will sell 8 million this winter. I think the real question is if it will hit 9 million. I predicted back in August the numbers in my sig. I still feel they are within 500k of reality for each console. Based on what I see right now I feel very comfortable with Wii at 18.5, but feel I overestimated Japan, and Underestemated others. The PS3 I feel I was 500k high in Japan, 300k high in the US and about 300k low in others. With the 360 I fell I was fine in Japan, 300k low in the US and 300k low in Others.
As it stands right now I see the battle being 18.5, 15.5, 9 by years end. This would put Sony and MS in the same exact spot as this time last year, and Nintendo doing their crazy magic for the time being.
(note: to thouse who might notice, my PS3 total in end 07 predictions chart now says 9.5 instead of 10.5. I have not changed my predictions, just noticed I am an idiot and 4+3+2.5=\=10.5. Thanks)
