Two million in five weeks? I'll have to wait until the black friday numbers before I say yes or no.

It will be hard for them with out a hit game. They will likely ramp up the Blue ray giveaways, maybe 20 free movies ,extra controller, and resistence, ratchet, combo pack to stimulate demand

I'd say 50/50 between narrowly hitting 8M and staying just below it.

now are we talking calender year? If you mean by March 08' and Q1 2008 starts than yeah I think so if you mean by December 31st I somehow doubt it but it's possible.

I do believe however that xbox will hit 16 million. Both on hardcore games (Halo3, Bioshock, Mass Effect) and casual (Viva Pinata, Scene it, Guitar Hero, Rock Band). And they stand the best to benefit from Wii shortages.

I don't see it happening before 08. I do think it can hit 7.5 though.

I say it wont reach 8 mil by the end of the calendar year. It might come close but no cigar.
