Funny you should say that because it reminds me of many people calling me a troll and claiming I was "owned" in many threads about Wii third-party support. See back then there were many Nintendo fanboys claiming that all the big third-party franchises by Western developers would move over to the Wii. I argued with them and tried to explain why that wasn't going to happen and all I got was insults of being a blind fanboy, claims of being a troll, and even many people calling for me to be banned.
History has proven me right just like it will in this case. I'm happy that Playstation fanboys are finally having their moment in the Sun and I hope they enjoy the year of great sales because it helps to make up for the many times the PS3 has failed to deliver in sales. Just like I took grief with those Wii third-party support threads I'll take it here now. I don't expect anything but more troll labels and grief and in a year's time when I'm proven right I don't expect anyone to tell me I was right (they didn't with the Wii either).

While you may be right about the Wii's support, I do believe you will be wrong about this. Since when does one game change anything? It takes a collection of awesome games to win people over. Besides, everyone knows that Halo is only on 360, but you miss the fact that not everyone cares. Even out of the ~10 mill who bought Halo 3, I doubt every single one liked it. Halo Reach will not change anything for 360. Mostly because if you love Halo, chances are you already have a 360. So really no HUGE bump in console sales there.
As far as Natal goes, many have already pointed out that even if it is a success, it will be mostly because of current owners buying it. The market they are aiming for with Natal has already gone to the Wii. And no one who has a Wii for its casual games are going to drop ~$300-$400 for a new system and camera to play more casual games. Not only that but if Sony's Wands are a success, again mostly due to current customers buying them, it will have stolen some of the wind out of Natal's sails as it is supposed to launch at a later date. Not to mention the fact that MS blew out its major hype push for Natal way too early. It may be able to create some hype right before its release, but nothing like right after E3, with all the news articles and awards being given out. Again no HUGE bump in consoles.

I don't get why you think it'll be mainly current buyers purchasing Natal. Do you think the same people that have bought Halo 3 and/or Modern Warfare 2 are going to be buying a Natal system for games like Milo & Kate? It was very obvious from their respective E3 showings that Microsoft gets it and Sony doesn't. Microsoft showed how they planned to go after a much wider audience while Sony instead tried to convince core gamers why they should purchase Sony's motion controller. If anything it's current owners that will buy Sony's Wand (or people that planned on purchasing a PS3 regardless) while Natal will bring in new people.
And since you're asking how does one game change anything, it's amazing how quickly some people forget because it wasn't that long ago that Wii Sports came onto the scene and captured the minds of casuals and core gamers alike. Natal has games that will capture the imaginations of people while Sony has shown absolutely nothing like that. In fact Sony's wand seems like a clone of the Wii Remote that brings nothing new to the table. I mean it's like Sony thinks Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition was a big reason for the Wii's success because otherwise why try to simply go after the core like they did at E3? Maybe they didn't plan it well but if that's the case and they're launching well before Natal then that says to me that it'll likely be another rush job that will fail.
