No its not that, they all got wiis at launch (same with me) and the software just hasn't been there. Of the ten people I know with wiis, who all got it in the first few months of release, maybe 5 bought brawl, and one bought NSMBwii. And its not like they switched to ps3 or xbox, they just don't play games anymore, or they play on PC. And they were all at various levels of gaming enjoyment, some are huge gamers, others were what we would call casuals. None of them like the wii however. And as for your question, the wii is almost doing double the sales of those two combined, so I would expect to see an impact of some sort amongst all the people I know, even if it was small. |
The "haven't played a game since Brawl" thing is a really just people not even trying to look for a good game. This could be because they lost interest or got interested in another system (or PC) or hobby. I really don't care, but there are plenty of games that are being released that gain the interest of other people.
I'm just saying, personal experience with who owns/plays certain consoles does not in any way reflect reality.

I'm sorry all your friends haven't been interested in any of the great games since brawl, but that is probably because they refuse to even be remotely interested not because there are no good games.
