Megaman 9 (and the ones on NES as they were the only other ones I played) were incredibly frustrating until you figured out which stages to do first, and which order to do them in. I can beat 9 in ~40 minutes no problem now, but being the first Mega Man I played in over 10 years, it was definitly a challenge.
