That wouldn't be a meltdown. Perhaps a bit of surprise, but not a meltdown.

Let's look at current trends:

Wii > PS3

Wii > 360

PS3 > 360...but this could be overturned.

HD > Wii...but Wii > HD is pretty commonplace.

DS > PSP...but nobody cares about handheld sales...

That leaves one or both of the HD consoles being above the Wii. That's my prediction.

EDIT: LOL, the PSP isn't beating the DS. Whoops. Fixed.
