I'm beginning to think the Wii and DS have peaked, particularly the Wii. Even with a price cut, it can't manage last year's numbers. It will sell for many years to come, but the chance of its crossing the PS2 is decreasing. The DS will, of course, breeze past the PS2. But it's even fallen below the Wii now. No matter, a hardware revision or two and a price cut will get things back on track, and it still outpaces the PSP by a fair bit.

The PS2 is dropping massively. Down 53% YoY? I suppose it's 9 years old, but why the sudden drop from 2008 to 2009? Lack of quality software?

PS3 is doing relatively well, up YoY. The price cut + Slim seem to have had a lasting effect rather than just a small boost, and have done a lot more to push hardware than the late 2007 price cut + 40GB. 2009 > 2008 > 2007 in sales, which is a good sign.

X360 isn't doing fantastically, but of course a price cut could change all of that. Not for a while, though. And I doubt Natal will push much hardware.

PSP isn't doing too abysmally, but sales aren't great, either. Even with the quality software it's seeing now that didn't get in these amounts last year.
