Actually 3D mario was never as popular as 2D mario, and its highest sales was in Mario 64, although Galaxy did sell more than sunshine, and as for Tekken outselling Mario, unlikely, except maybe some of the party Marios, some which only sold around a million, judging by sales of Tekken series, not to mention the PS3's install base

SM 64 DS sold 1.17 Million

SMG sold 1.06 Million

The 3D mario series is in decline, we have the numbers here on VGC.

And as for my prediction. I mean every Mario game combined. i thought it would be fun to do an amazingly rubbish prediction, like a certain other member.
