Nintendo has been really slow with their inner teams this gen. Any guesses why only 7 of their 25 teams are working on announced projects, and most of the projects are being handled by 3rd parties?
There's definitely something wrong going on inside Nintendo, but we don't know what it is. By year's end, after the release of Spirit Tracks and NSMBWii, there will be only 5 teams with announced projects. That's the lowest it has gone since I started making this thread, which is honestly kind of worrying. The secrecy is increasing as time goes by.
