here is a tip for ya.
1) stop forcing 3MB of gifs on people as it is a ton to download every forum page I visit. Use smaller images and it'll fit on the screen. Be considerate and keep it under 1MB.
2) use tables to place things in different areas. If both of your images were the same size you could easily pu them in a table side by side and then put text under both of them.
