@kingofwale: Demon's Soul is not an on rails shooter. It was also being hyped and praised by users and critics. This on the other hand was not liked at all, firstly because of the "buy or never get another game" condition, and secondly because the Wii is always getting the watered down experiences as opposed to what the HD consoles get.
Take a look at Muramasa, it sold really well in the USA. It's not only the HD consoles that can do it. Dead Space Extraction was an overpriced, simple and short game with no hype behind and a spin-off to a new IP that didn't sell very well. If their threats become reality I will be glad, because there's nothing that EA is doing properly outside Tiger Woods PGA.
