The only time that chart would have any bearing is if the price cuts, economy and a hundred other factors that influence sales had been the same across the timescale the chart covered, which they aren't.

It shows that at the same point in the consoles lifetime, the PS3 is ahead by over 3 million sales. It isn't "spinning" anything.
It's not exactly lying...
There is another one though, kinda like the alligned launches one. If you count all PS360 consoles sold since PS3 launched, 360 is leading. (Last time i checked it was, anyway...)
