It's called variety. If you take it away from your customers and impose only the most popular of your products without any other choice, then you will be lucky to retain even half of your customers. I think variety is better.
Let's hope Nintendo starts focusing on variety next year, I have faith in them. No more sequels, and yes to new experiences (other than Wii series)
