Which should I buy? A PS3 or XBOX 360?

Yeah but PS3 gets FFXIII plus 2 exclusive FF games, so PS3 is still the best choice for FF fans.

I was just using it as an example. There have been other promises that also failed to deliver. The promise that the PS3 will be on the market 8 years from now is crap. For all we know Sony pulls out of gaming due to massive losses and calls this generation the last one. The future is too unpredictable and you are best off buying so you can enjoy it now. If you can't justify your purchase now, then why not wait until you can justify the purchase. Along the way the price might drop, or you may realize you never wanted it in the first place.
