Yes another one of these but of course one big thing has changed since I made the last one which is of course that the PS3 is now $100 cheaper. We are not going to predict pack ins, just what you think the game will do standalone and with bundles NOT PACK-INS.

GT5 - 6.5 million (The game is not even in the top 40 for pre-orders in NA if this site is correct. Splinter Cell: Conviction is so it being this year or next is a bad excuse. GT Mobile is not either and that is 2 weeks away, poor little bugger. Still expect the game to sell 4 million in EU though and that too with ease, 800k in Japan and 1.7 million in NA.)

In addition to what I've already said to Darth, that one really sticks out. Honestly, RPG, I expect that sort of logic from the less-intelligent Microsoft fans (whom I will not name). Preorders are probably low because nobody knows when the game is releasing. Probably 2009, but the people don't know that. When it's confirmed at TGS, expect preorders to skyrocket (if there are some ads saying that it releases in 2009). Plus, GT has always has great legs, and not that fantastic an opening week- as Darth said, GT4 had a lower opening than GTA4 PS3. But GTA4 PS3 won't come near 10 million. Of course, GT4 did break 2 million first week, and GT5 should do the same- if MGS4 can get 1.7 million FW, GT5 can get 300k more than that.

Of course, Europe is the largest GT fanbase, and I think 4 million is too low. Perhaps 5-6 million. 2-3 million in NA, around 1 million in Japan. 8-10 million overall.
