What a ridiculous article.
1) Lol, most hyped game ever? This doesn't hold a candle to Halo 3 or GTA4 (or even MGS4). Yet.
2) Take your controversial opinions elsewhere, Seeliam, and stop ruining Squeece's reputation! (people get you two confused, and I'm not sure why).
3) 120 million PS2 owners were not available to purchase God of War II. Because the majority of people with interest in God of War (the more hardcore crowd) would already own 7th gen consoles. Why they released a PS2 game in March 2007 is beyond me. Piracy was pretty rampant then, as well. A smaller userbase means nothing, because the majority of PS2 owners who do not own PS3s are casual gamers who either now own a Wii or no seventh gen console. A couple were elitist casuals (or hardcore) who bought 360s, and another group bought PS3s. The God of War purchasers would mostly fall in the third category. Plus there are people who did not buy the original two and would be interested in this one after all the hype (after all, the PS3 does not have the breadth of library that the PS2 had). Finally, it's nice that they used VGC numbers and all, but I don't trust those Others figures.
