These are my thoughts exactly, only I never came here for the news. I came here for the chartz and the forums used to be full of smart people but I think most of them left when the site turned into a much cheaper looking version of Gamespot's website.

2.0 didn't get rid of anyone. The smart people probably just got bored. They'll be back in a couple of months.

Seriously though, look around you. The enormous majority of posters are intelligent and can properly form a sentence without trolling. It's only a few people who bring the site down, and usually they are banned soon enough (though sometimes it can take up to 37 minutes and 40 seconds).
