Holy Hell at Wii sales!!
There was a lot going on for the Wii this week. A new iteration of a huge franchise (MH3), the release of a new peripheral (Classic Controller Pro), a HW bundle including MH3, and a new color for the Wii.
But I didn't think it was going to be enough to do such numbers, I'm truly amazed. Let's hope this boost disappears gradually rather than abruptly. We know new core games draw in more players than casual games in Japan, because IMO the casual market there is oversaturated. Wii needed a game like this to come to life again. Maybe now the bigger core fanbase will be eager to buy core games like the ones no one cared for before this game released.
So million seller confirmed? I would say yes.
