Secondly, if you make a bet, you shouldn't be able to hold onto your VG$. It gets thrown in holding until a winner is announced. This is essentially how all betting works. If you didn't take the money ahead of time, who knows if you'd still have it to pay up later.

Well, your first problem has been solved (1000 post minimum), and your second problem can easily be solved as well.
