i dont know why everyone saying mario games are simillar
Super Mario Sunshine is not the same gameplay as Mario 64 and its not the same as Mario Galaxy and also not the same as NSMB
i don't think the characters matter in mario games, and i dont think nintendo needs any deep character in mario games, they just are the same label done differently.
you are right about it selling alot cause of its name. nintendo are just too lazy to come up with new characters , but if it isn't broke don't fix it
