I dont know how any final fantasy game is similar..

FF X and FF VII are completely different, other than the fact it uses some of the same termenology

The only similarities between FF's is the recurring elements like Magic,Monsters,Weapons, Chocobo, moogles, summons ext...each New FF crafts a different world story and characters.

most of the time some of the summons and magical attacks have the same names, same with the weapons (Ragnorok, Masamune, Ultima Weapon, etc) other than that each FF is different
