Don't worry I'm sure it'll have good legs, this is a PS3 game after all and not every PS3 owner uses there PS3 for games, so that's why game sales are usually a little low. Also it wasn't hyped that much, it had decent marketing. But just look at all the other new IPs and there first week I'm sure InFamous will be the same and will probably sell close to 3 million:

What else would People use their PS3 for?...
To play Blu-ray movies....Why would people get a PS3 and not a 200 dollar Blu-ray player?

For about a year or two the PS3 was the cheapest Blu-ray Player around. It was either pay $1500 for a Blu-ray Player or pay $600 for a PS3 that plays Blu-ray better then anything on the market, not to mention there wasn't any big games out when the PS3 was released. But Now people and going to be buying the PS3 mostly because of all the huge games coming to it or already is on it. Also a lot of scientist or who ever they are bought the PS3 for The Cell and because the PS3 is basically a extremely cheap supercomputer.
