As stated, I typically have the cutoff at 1 month, however I will take action for shorter periods if all the person did was post "bump" or the equivalent. After 1 month, you have to add some form of significant content. For me, continuing a month old conversation is just a way to stealth bump and not get caught, so it better be good.
