this is a very good point that I just pointed out in another thread. IGN likes to get attention to their website by spouting rumors as facts and telling you to believe them since they have "credible inside sources". This is about the same as when a forum member tells you they know something will happen because of credible inside sources but no one believes the forum poster.
Granted, they have been correct on their statements before, but a lot of times they talk way too soon and the developer changes their mind before showing anything off.
