But the least Nintendo needs right now is to drive away their core fans with ports, new games are always better. But let's just stop, E3 is near.

Ports don't drive away core fans. That is just a fallacy made up along with other gamer fallacies in recent years.

Ports are a sign of support. Note that when the PSP got less support, the ports slowed down as well. The DS still gets ports, though.

Nintendo of course supports the Wii, and ports are just a way of keeping the games coming, no matter what you think.

Ports do not drive core fans away, but because that's not the kind of core gamer I was talking about. I was talking about core Nintendo supporter, loyal Nintendo gamer who has owned most of the games they have released before. I don't remember seeing N64 ports on to the GC, neither Super Nintendo ports to the N64, and then just a few NES to SNES ports but in compilations.

You act as if Nintendo has always been like this, prioritizing ports over new content, when the console is FULLY BC with the GC. Do you have an idea of what you are saying? You talk like you are Mister Know It All and that's why you always get riled up in discussions with everyone. You know you can sometimes be wrong, right? How are last gen ports good support for the loyal Nintendo fans? How is it good support if the console is already able to play those games?

Get used to it, people will not always think the way you do, you either accept that or you will have a lot of troubles in life. Just the same way you always try to lecture people on how wrong they are when they talk about Dead Rising CTYD, like the only opinion that counts is the one you have.

This is why I don't want to discuss with a person that never listens to anyone.
